Spooky East Bay Halloween Hauntings


Spooky fun awaits this October in the East Bay. From ghostly cemetery tours to cornfield mazes and haunted walks, the East Bay offers an abundance of Halloween attractions that are sure to send shivers down your spine. Let's explore three eerie experiences that will make your Halloween unforgettable.



Date & Time: Friday & Saturday, Oct. 20-21, 2023 - 7:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

The historic Dublin Heritage Park & Museums beckon the brave to embark on a spine-tingling journey. As darkness falls, enjoy a flashlight tour through the Dublin Historic Cemetery. Here, Dublin's buried past comes to life as you hear haunting stories of lingering spirits. Explore the Old St. Raymond Church, where ghostly images of pioneers are said to manifest, and venture inside the Kolb House.


Ghosts of Dublin tours begin at 7:30 p.m. and continue every 30 minutes until 10:30 p.m. While this eerie event is recommended for ages 8 and up, keep in mind that cemetery tours departing at 9:00 p.m. and later are reserved for older teens and adults. The tour check-in begins in the Sunday School Barn at the park.

Located in Livermore, G&M Farms offers a seasonal attraction that's a must-visit for the whole family. Voted the Best Seasonal Attraction in the East Bay by Diablo Magazine, this farm promises harvest fun for all ages. Be sure to visit on weekends to experience additional delights like hayrides, pedal carts, cow train rides, and more. You can find G&M Farms right off I-580 at Isabel Avenue in Livermore.

Pleasanton's downtown area holds secrets from the past, and the Museum on Main is your gateway to discovering them. Join the Ghost Walk, a two-hour guided tour of Pleasanton's most haunted sites along Main Street. Led by your Ghost Host (love that!), you'll encounter spirits and hear stories that will send chills down your spine.


The tour is family-friendly and has been a beloved Halloween tradition for over sixteen years. Most stops are outside, but you might venture inside haunted buildings. Whether rain or shine, dress appropriately for this spine-tingling experience, and feel free to wear your Halloween costume!
