Wearing All the Hats

When it comes to buying or selling a property, having a great realtor on your side makes all the difference. As a licensed professional, I specialize in helping clients buy and sell properties. My “hats” are varied, and I act as a guide, advisor, and negotiator throughout the entire process—sometimes all at the same time.

Through my experience, I’ve discovered that not all realtors are created equal. In my opinion, here are the three most important qualities to look for in a realtor. And I’ve worked hard to develop all of them!

The Big Three

Experience: Experience is one of the most critical qualities to look for in a realtor. I bring a wealth of knowledge about the industry, the local market, and the buying and selling process. I have worked with a variety of clients and can anticipate potential issues before they arise. Real estate requires a lot of paperwork, and I am familiar with the legalities, and regulations involved in a transaction and can guide you through the process with ease. I also have a vast network of contacts, including other real estate professionals, lenders, inspectors, and contractors, that you can tap into for your benefit.

Communication Skills: A realtor who communicates effectively can make the entire buying or selling process much smoother. I believe that communication is a two-way street, and I am an excellent listener and communicator. I work hard to understand your needs, preferences, and concerns and translate them into actionable steps. I provide regular updates and feedback throughout the process. Communication is crucial when negotiating a deal, and a good communicator can help you get the best possible outcome.

Problem-Solving Skills: Real estate transactions can be complicated, and unexpected issues can arise at any time. My strong problem-solving skills help navigate these challenges. I work hard to “stay ahead of the game” to identify potential problems before they become major issues and I’ll have a plan in place to address them. I love thinking creatively and outside the box to come up with solutions that work for you. Effective problem-solving can help avoid costly mistakes and make the entire process much less stressful.
